Wrapping up 2014-2015 Ministry year:

God filled this past year with many amazing opportunities to touch people’s lives! It has held some significant transitions for our family. As the church in Fort Collins has grown we’ve had to focus our efforts and as part of us focusing our roles, we’ve moved out of leading the training school.

At Easter, our church hosted a community egg hunt in order to meet folks and to bless our city. It was amazing how many people showed up and heard our heart to love people in the name of Jesus!

For our 2014-2015 training school class outreach trip Daniel led our class to Mongolia. We loved seeing people touched by God’s love. It was powerful to see people respond to Jesus and get plugged in with the local church!

A Good Summer:

Wow! This Summer just flew by! We wrapped up our last season of leading the training school in May. We had visitors in June and August, went to our church conference (iCON) in July, and traveled the Mid-West for vacation in late July!

Vivian enjoyed her first camping experience with the Koenigsberg side in northern Iowa! We can confidently report that she likes her cousins, playgrounds, and making mud-pies!

Vivian LOVES dogs!

We traveled to Wisconsin to visit with Grandpa and Grandma Waschek. Vivian had a blast going on walks, playing with Grandpa, sitting with Grandma on the porch, and laughing with Aunt Becca!

Getting in Gear:

The Fall ministry season has kicked into gear already and we’ve been busy connecting with new folks, preparing for Fall outreaches, and having fun going on walks together.

This past year, when Vivian joined our family, we transitioned from leading Life Group in the adults section of our church and began attending Life Group in the families section. It’s been a delight to see families in our church worshiping Jesus together and raising their children to follow him! We’re looking forward to a new year of Life Group together as everyone comes back from their Summer adventures. Last night we enjoyed time having our Life Group over for a cookout.

Praying with Us:

We so appreciate how many of you uphold the ministry God has called us to in faithful prayer. We’d like to invite you in to praying with us on 2 key points:

  1. Please intercede for powerful breakthrough in ministry this Fall!
We want to see people’s lives touched and transformed by the Good News!
  2. Prayer for Direction
After our church conference in July our hearts were again stirred for God’s heart for people around the world to know him as Lord and Savior. Our lead pastor asked all of us on the full-time staff team to seek the Lord again about the question of whether God’s asking us to stay planted in Fort Collins or to be part of Fort Collins sending church plants around the world.
Please join us in asking for sensitivity to God’s leading so that we can position our family in line with God’s heart and purposes!

Thank You!

Liz and I just want to say a big thank you to everyone of you who has been part of enabling us to serve the Kingdom here in Fort Collins. We are so honored by your investment and we want to honor you by thanking God for you!

I love what the Apostle Paul writes in Philippians 1:3-6:

Philippians 1:3-6
I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

We are thankful for your partnership in the Gospel!
